Boo Boo Excitement

Our cute Lil Bear Cottage is situated near our Ranger Station and our Ranger Smith™ Cottage, nearly center of the campground!  The cottages are 12 x 16 feet and has a 6-foot porch that comes with a bench glider.  These cottages have indoor plumbing that includes a bathroom with shower and kitchenette with 2-burner cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, toaster and a 10-cup coffeemaker.  Located outdoors is a park grill for charcoal use, picnic table and a fire ring.  If camping with friends, we offer two Lil Cottages right across from each other!

This cottage features a queen size bed centrally located and a low-clearance loft, perfect for your sleeping bags!  All cottages have air conditioning and heat to help us adjust to the great Michigan Weather!

*No more than 5 people will be allowed to stay in this unit, regardless of age.
****Please note…NEW in 2021-NO mattresses are located on the floor in our loft units.

Pets & Linen Service

Our cabins allow pets! There is a $15.00 per Pet Cleaning Fee added to rate per day. All damage that is associated from the pets will be the responsibility of the guest.

Linen Service is available!  If you would like a linen package, be sure to reserve at the time of reservation to get the discounted rate...  There is a one-time fee of $20 for each King(RV Rentals)/Queen/Full bed, which includes appropriate size sheet and pillowcase set, blanket/cover, 2 bath & hand towels & 2 washcloths. Each Twin set is just $17.50 which includes the appropriate size sheet and pillowcase set, blanket/cover, 1 bath & hand towels & 1 washcloths.

***Linen packages that are ordered after the reservation has been made will be $25 for King/Queen/Full size and $22.50 for Twin size.

Please note:   We do not rent Towels ONLY packages, towels only come in our complete linen packages.  We do not provide daily maid service.

New in 2022, we are offering a towel refresh if you are using our linen program.  Please put towels in laundry bag provided.  Place on the outside door knob before noon and we will return a fresh set to you! Unfortunately due to staffing levels, the towel refresh program is placed on hold.

When  Staying in One of Our Cabins, Please Remember:

  • Check In Time:  4 pm or later
  • Check Out Time:  11 am or earlier
  • Sleeps up to 5 depending on size and comfort
  • No smoking allowed in Cabins.  There is an $150 cleaning fee if smoking noted in cabin/cottage.
  • Includes Pots & Pans, Dishes and Silverware
  • Includes pillows

Reservations, Cancellation, & No-Show Policies

Below are Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort reservation, cancellation and no show policies. Please review each policy carefully before submitting your reservation.

Reservation Policy
  • A 2-night minimum is required for all reservations. Walk-Ins are always welcome and can stay for one night, if space is available.
  • All reservations require payment in full at the time the reservation is made.
  • Holiday Time Periods have a 3 or 4-night minimum stay.
  • Special Time Periods consist of Harborfest (3rd Thursday + weekend in June), Blueberry Festival (2nd weekend in August) and Halloween (September/October) are charged holiday rates.
  • Reservation made within the 7 days of arrival will require a non-refundable deposit.
  • A $3 Reservation fee is assessed on each site/lodging that is reserved.  This fee is assessed by the software company, therefore non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellations processed 7 days or more prior to arrival will result in a $15.00 cancellation fee.
    • Reservation Fee is not part of the $15 cancellation fee, as that is non-refundable.
    • If Site Lock is used, that is also non-refundable and is not part of the $15 Cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations processed less than 7 days prior to arrival will be charged:
    • 1-night site rental on Regular Rate Periods for each site/cabin/cottage/golf cart reserved
    • 2-nights site rental on Special Time Periods for each site/cabin/cottage/golf cart reserved
    • 3 or 4-nights on Holiday Time Periods for each site/cabin/cottage/golf cart reserved
  • If you are within the 7 days of arrival and decide you want to change your dates to a different time frame you would incur a $15 move fee. Please note that if you then decided to cancel those dates that were moved, you would then incur the original cancellation fee as per above and loose 1-3 nights based on your original booking period, in addition to the $15 move fee.
*No refunds on early departures. **If cancelling reservation, please note that the reservation fee is non-refundable. ***If you locked in your reservation and then decide to cancel, that fee is non-refundable.
 
No Show Policy
All reservations will be held until 9:00 AM on the morning following your scheduled arrival. If you do not arrive and have not cancelled your reservation, you will lose all monies associated with your reservation and your reservation will then be cancelled.
